Silver Key (Levels 2-8) also chronicled by Murray

The situation is simple: go to the orc-populated city of Krimba Hai and retrieve the captured general Lord General Hereipen as well as the fabled Ca'ega (Silver Key). The key was captured by the orcs as well as Herepein. The heroes are explained the importance of the key to the city of Honshar's defense against the ever-increasing hostility of the orcs of Krimba Hai. Compelled by the fact that their colleague Steil had inherited an old manor in the now besieged city, the heroes decided to quest for Honshar.

The heroes met with one of the local figures, a woman named Otasura. During meetings it was decided that that plan would be one of stealth. Otasura's plan was as follows: change the heroes into orcs and teleport them to her summer manor in the country. From there they will travel in the guise of orcs, rescue Herepein and retrieve the Silver Key. They will then make their way back to the city and be recognized as allies, not orcs (since they will be with Herepein). Failing this, the heroes are to return to her manor and wait there until they are teleported back to Honshar.

Upon arriving at Otasura's manor, the heroes discovered that the place had been looted and ransacked. The heroes surmised that orcs were responsible for the act. While traveling to Krimba Hai, the heroes came across an orc caravan with captives. While observing the orcs from a distance, Dirk was chased down by a wild boar and killed. He got better after Steil arrived on the scene. From here the heroes ventured into the encampment and discovered that they don't understand or speak orc.

The orcs, amusing themselves by swinging a captive from a tree branch through the fire, were challenged by Josephine for the right to have the captive for her own. Disguised as a female orc, she defeats the orc and a few of his buddies. Humiliated by the fact that they were bested by a female, they withdraw. Impressed at the dominant female (Josephine) and here male orc henchmen, the caravan leader, one Red Tusk, invites Josephine and the heroes to drink and eat - orc style.

The next day the orc shaman (Haratai), whom Red Tusk often quarreled, was found dead of a massive gash to the body. Red Tusk's diagnosis: death by natural causes. The heroes travelled with the caravan for awhile and gained the trust of Red Tusk. One night the heroes managed to set most of the captives free and escape with their lives.

Next stop: Krimba Hai. Still disguised as orcs, the heroes easily gained entrance to the fort. While scouting around, they discover that the Silver Key will be used to open a gate from Krimba Hai to Honshar. They also found that Herepein was not a captive of the orcs, but rather an ally. Recognizing that Herepein fabricated the whole ambush and subsequent theft of the Key, they decided that rescuing him was not a good idea.

After much stealth the heroes were able to steal the Key and escape the city. Now the heroes were being hunted down like dogs. Not far from the city they were tracked down by Red Tusk and his entourage. Battle ensued and Steil became dead at the hands of Red Tusk. Battle continued and Red Tusk was defeated, but not killed. His fat, stinking body was last seen rolling down a hill.

The heroes made their way to Otasura's manor and waited to be transported back to Honshar. After waiting for a few days the heroes made for Honshar instead of sitting in one place waiting to be hunted down. While traveling through the Achray forest, the heroes were attacked by an band of elves. Pinned down behind a fallen tree, the heroes were able to avoid the deadly accurate arrows of Belag the Cat and his comrades. During a lull in the attack, Josephine was able to convince the elves that they were not orcs-by speaking elven and not utilizing swears in her speech. Belag escorted the heroes through the forest. From there the heroes found their way to Honshar with a group of orc a few minutes behind them. Desperately the heroes pleaded their case to Lord Stirling and were granted entrance to the city. From there the heroes learned that Otasura had died a few nights before. Her son Haller was able to restore the heroes to their regular form. Honshar was safe.

The heroes had no moral objections to making Steil's house theirs. The heroes enjoyed their new place for nearly a year before they departed from Honshar. Jones the Halfling hid some treasure that they acquired in the basement. The problem was when Jones expired, so did the the location of the treasure.
